Fibrefusion help build International 14

March 2016 saw the launch of a new International 14 racing dinghy , “a fast and exciting double hander”, and Fibrefusion have been involved in the project from the start. Owner, Dan Holman, designed the boat to be as lightweight as possible. Using our Tekcel 3D router, we at Fibrefusion machined the plug for the hull. The interior bulkheads and the cockpit sole were laid up and pressed in one of our hot presses before being accurately cut to shape on the router. Falmouth Marine School then built the boat before she came back to Fibrefusion to be finished and painted in our painting section.

The completed boat was presented to the world at the RYA Suzuki Dinghy Show at Alexandra Palace.
